When the ledger shows stock the aisle does not
I have sat in more than one Tbilisi meeting where the monthly pack was internally consistent and the warehouse was not. The pack described a room that had been split with a cage in January. Nobody had told the pack. The aisle still knew.
People then ask for a tighter formula. A tighter formula applied to a room that does not exist will still be wrong. The cheaper morning is a walk with the shift lead, a sketch of the rooms as they are, and a line in the pack that names the split.
We will not journal into your books. We will draw the rooms and sit there while you decide which number to retire. If March is missing from the files, say so. A hole on the map is better than a confident line through empty air.
